On May 10th, Colvin Run sixth-graders continued the tradition of completing their service learning project at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. Each year, CRES sixth-graders learn about stewardship by cleaning up trash and debris in the woods surrounding our nation’s only national park for the performing arts. Guided by park rangers, the children worked together to ensure that this national treasure will look its best for the upcoming season of concerts and musicals. Our students represented CRES well as they turned work into play while helping to preserve the beauty of Wolf Trap.
