Congratulations to Mrs. Felecia Allen on her recognition as the March 2023 FCPS CARES Region 1 Recipient of the Month, presented by the FCPS Department of Human Resources.

Below is the write-up submitted by a Colvin Elementary School parent.

Mrs. Allen has been very caring and is liked by my children and other students at Colvin Run. She went out of her way during a recent incident with my son, who got sick during a field trip by making sure he was ok and even purchased a sweatshirt for him because he had vomited on himself. I have 2 kids at Colvin Run, and they always tell me that they feel like Mrs. Allen and all the staff are like their own family members. We appreciate Mrs. Allen for being so kind and caring. We are sure Colvin Run ES is lucky to have her.
